Revd Canon Glyn Evans
Team Rector My name is Glyn Evans and I was born in Dartford Kent. As you can tell from my name I have some Welsh roots! I trained as a vicar in Birmingham then moved to the North East thirty years ago. Before I came to North Shields I was the vicar of St. Andrews in Newcastle and the City Centre Chaplain. I am a Chaplain to Deaf people. I am married and have two grown up children. |
Revd Dorothy Robinson
Team Vicar My name is Dorothy Robinson, I was born in north Northumberland, moving to Tyneside in the 1970’s. I trained for ordination at Cranmer Hall, St John’s College, Durham. For the past ten years I have been Associate Priest at Tynemouth Priory, Church of the Holy Saviour. I also work as a Hospital Chaplain a few hours a week with Northumbria NHS Chaplaincy Team. I am married and have two grown up children. |
Revd Malcolm Hall
Assistant Curate The following news was announced in both churches this morning.... The Rt Revd Mark Wroe, Bishop of Berwick and Acting Bishop of Newcastle, is delighted to announce that the Rev’d Malcolm Hall, at present Assistant Curate in the North Shields Team Ministry has been appointed Priest in Charge of Fawdon and Priest in Charge of Kenton. Malcolm’s licensing service will be held on Thursday 8th December at 7.30pm. Malcolm writes, ‘it has been a joy and privilege to have served you and been a part of the Ministry team here in North Shields during my curacy. I thank you all for your friendship, continued support, encouragement, and your prayers which have helped me grow spiritually and prepared me for the next stage of my ministry. Kim and I will miss you all dearly. Please keep Malcolm and Kim in your prayers as they prepare to move and begin this new ministry. |
