• SHOEBOX APPEAL – boxes are now available – please take a leaflet to ensure you pack the correct items. Boxes must be returned by Sunday, 2nd November.
• Sunday, 2nd November: 6.00 p.m. All Souls’ Service, Christ Church. Letters have been sent to the families of those whose funerals we have held during the last year. 
  If you wish someone to be remembered at the service please put their name on the list at church.
• Tuesday, 4th November: 2.00 p.m. Mothers’ Union, Parish Centre.
• Thursday 6th November, 7.00 p.m. Bible Study at the Vicarage (26 Cleveland Road). Join us for a welcoming Bible study on The Transforming Story of Zacchaeus (Luke 19:1–10). Everyone is warmly invited — we’ll begin with coffee and cake, and you are encouraged to bring a friend along.

• Tuesday, 11th November: 11.00 a.m. Deaf Community Coffee Morning, Christ Church.
• Wednesday, 12th November: 1.00 p.m. Craft and Chat, St. Augustin’s.
• Friday, 14th November: 6.00 p.m. Robotics in Space, talk at St. Augustin’s. £5 includes refreshments, £2.50 under 16’s.
• Saturday, 15th November: 10.00 a.m. Pop-up Bakery, St. Augustin’s.
  2.30 p.m. G&S Concert, St. Augustin’s.
• Sunday, 16th November at 10:00am Confirmation Service:  We are delighted to invite you to a special Team Confirmation Service at Christ Church led by Bishop Helen-Ann, Bishop of Newcastle.
• Tuesday, 18th November: 2.00 p.m. Mothers’ Union, Parish Centre.
  
• Wednesday, 19th November: 10.30 a.m. Christ Church Social Committee, Parish Centre.
  7.00 p.m. Bible Study – at the Vicarage (26 Cleveland Road NE29 0NG). Come and enjoy a friendly Bible study based on The Birth of Jesus Foretold (Luke 1 v 26 to 45).  All ages are welcome, and coffee and cake will be served at the beginning. Why not bring a friend?
  
• Wednesday, 26th November: 11.30 a.m. - 1.30 p.m. Our Advent Study, followed by soup & pudding, will run each Wednesday until 17th December, at St. Augustin’s. Donations from the lunches will be sent to Crisis UK a charity for the homeless.
